5 stars doesn’t quite translate the premium experience I received from the Elevated Beings at the Laya Center during my visit, where I received a facial following a cryotherapy sesh. A relaxed and nourishing sanctuary in the heart of the city, a true gem in KC.

I stumbled upon The Laya Center while looking for a quite spot to enjoy a cup of tea. Herban came up in my search and I decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is calming with an array of beauty products to select from. Herban is situated in a corner near the entrance and offers an impressive selection of teas, herbal blends, and lattes. My only complaint is their selection of bakery items. I was able to snag a treat, but they have been out the last two times I went. Seating was limited, but the space is quiet and I found a comfy seat without any issues.

This place is amazing. This is where I go to get massages, recently I've tried other services & all have been wonderful. The sweet treats, vegan cheeses, & drinks are very tasty & delicious! The atmosphere is laid back, welcoming, & relaxing. Everytime I'm in the vicinity I stop in to get myself a treat (candle, book, drink, etc.)The staff are wonderful as well!
