A. Gittens Electrical Solutions

I hired this guy (Daniel Gittens) for a full rewire of a house that I was working on. Initially things went well but when it came down to it he finished 90% of the work and left me hanging on the remaining 10%. To make matters worse things were wrapping up right as winter was approaching and I needed that remaining 10% of work done to connect power for the furnace to the new meter so that the pipes don't freeze. I had mentioned that this was going to be a major issue if not coordinated properly and he took note of it, or so I thought... The time came to switch the meter and I called him to which he notified me he was in Florida for the next 6 weeks! Okay, I also run my own business, I get it, time off can be hard. But this guy proceeded to not only fail to notify me he would be gone for 6 weeks while having an open job but he flat out refused to sub out someone else to finish his work and left me having to pay an emergency electrician on a single day's notice to finish the job. Bidding for a full rewire and new panel. Installing half the breakers and calling it a day is not finishing the scope of work. Near the top of the list for worst sub contractors I have had the displeasure of working with.

We had a great experience with A. Gittens Electrical. Our guy was very knowledgable and worked quickly. Got everything done, plus gave us good recommendations on what would look best. We did new lighting/wiring in our basement that we are finishing. I will be calling them next time I need a plumber!
