Don't let the Joplin Downtown location fool you into thinking you can not afford Salon 529.....because YOU CAN!! The staff and stylists are amazing, helpful, and very knowledgeable in their expertise. My husband even goes here to get his hairs cut, waxed, and shaved!! I'm so glad I came in here a year ago on Small Business Saturday! Jo is my stylist, and wouldn't change a thing!! Try them out for a warm towel hair wash, condition, cut, dry and style all for under$40! Salon 529 even offers a beverage when you arrive! Give them a try!

My first time getting my hair cut by anyone other than myself since 2020 because of a bad haircut. Jo was amazing and did EXACTLY what I asked for! Other stylists I've been to seem to want to freestyle on my long curly hair but she was genuinely so talented and amazing and listened to me. She also taught me a lot about curly hair care and how to properly style it! I am so happy, thank you

New to the area and found my new place to get my hair done. Had my hair cut color styled and treatment done today by Sarah F she was wonderful did such an amazing job made me feel more confident with myself she did above and beyond listened to what I wanted and made my hair feel look so beautiful I recommend her to anyone. This place is clean wonderful staff welcoming make you feel right at home, I love the style print on the ceiling as well how pretty was inside.
