5-Stars There is no doubt in my mind but what JPC has to be one of the best Family Practices in the 4-States. Dr. Pfeffer and his team have been taking care of our family for the last 3 ½ years. We’d relocated to Joplin 7 years ago and for the first few years, we didn’t have good experiences with a number of local physicians. Always an appointment with the primary and then the referrals and lots of wasted time to find out what wasn’t wrong with us. Doc Pfeffer had been suggested by a friend and there we went. Much to our surprise, he’s an excellent diagnostician. He doesn’t treat symptoms; he goes after the cause. Thankfully, because he does go for the cause, he pretty much saved my life with a life-threatening situation that required a deeper look and I’m still here because of this skill. Since our time with him, we spend a lot less time having to go to the doctor numerous times for the same complaint. He’s no nonsense and gets right after the task at hand. He’s an excellent communicator that make's sure you’re clear on what he’s talking about. He can be very down to earth when he needs to be. He knows how to talk to people on a level that can make for clear two-way communication. He will tell you that his staff is exceptional and he’s right. They’re loving and caring and always willing to do what needs to be done to make sure that we’re taken care of. This is from reception, PA’s, and nurses right to the end. They’re simply all wonderful talented people. No one likes to go to the doctor, but if you have to go, Joplin Primary Care is the right choice if you’re looking for a great family doctor with an exceptional staff. We couldn’t be happier with our Family Physician. We’re very grateful for Dr. Sean Pfeffer.
