“R Veterinary is the place to go if you want professionalism with a community attitude. I’ve brought multiple of my pets to this clinic. When my kitten had to be euthanized, the staff were there for me and were so kind. They are also super patient with shy and timid animals like my German shepherd. I recently took my other kitten in to get a check up since he is sick and they were so sweet and friendly.“

“UPDATE!:

My mother’s dog (blind for 2-years now) had an eye emergency over a weekend outside of office hours. We called the number and a recording gave us another number to call. Reluctantly, I reached out to Dr. Boyer (as a neighbor) and asked for his advice. He can’t do this for everyone (although I’m certain he wishes he could) but at that moment, he had time and went and opened up his office and met us there way after hours. He’s stabilized situation and scheduled us for surgery a couple days later. Mom‘s dog is recovering well.

It’s just proof that amazing people still do exist. People who selflessly do the right thing whenever they are able to. They’re just are not enough words to describe or enough ways to reward someone so dedicated.

Wow! There is no place better. I might make their staff my doctors if that were allowed! I’m now a retired military officer but still working for the federal government— I’m just fortunate enough to be in the local area again.

Dr Boyer actually lives a few houses away from me. His dedication and work ethic are unmatched by any other Veterinarian I’ve met throughout my career. I see him come home from work often times after 8 PM!

He is an incredible veterinarian. I witnessed other veterinarians welcome his knowledge and expertise to save their pet patients’ lives. I witnessed him without hesitation offer whatever advice he can to help families in need or other veterinarians struggling to make a diagnosis. Some of these occurrences he doesn’t even get paid for… Yet he will take the time to help save the loved pet’s life.

As a neighbor… without getting in the specifics… He was there immediately to help with an emergency we had a couple years ago. Most recently, he’s been saving another family members pet’s life by reviewing data and offering experience and options for that family’s veterinarian staff to consider. This family lives in the Kansas City area or they would be one of Dr. Boyer‘s patients. Again, he does this without expecting a dime… and he did it even while on vacation!

I don’t know if his amazing staff (they have a team probably 10 to 15 I think) are accepting new patients right now… I don’t know how that works in the veterinarian business, but if you are looking for an unbeatable veterinarian service, absolutely try Animal Medical Center of Jefferson City Missouri on Dix Road. Susan or Brittany often answer the phone when I call but their entire team is so friendly! Give them a call!

“We feel welcome in our new neighborhood. My little guy Beetlejuice,is a pound puppy and has a loving mum and his 4 ever home. He makes friends wherever he goes, and besides being affectionate, he is a quick learner, already a CGC recipient. Dr Beddoe at Southwest, has been a blessing as my little guy is finally on the correct diet, a Rx food, designed for the challenge of pancreatic disorder. It won't go away but he enjoys this food, and he is more comfortable. The only negative is one can of the Rx food is 4.50 so it adds up quickly. That is not Dr. Beddoe who sets the price but the Science Diet, and it is Rx only dog food. They are compassionate animal lovers;)“

“We recently noticed a stray cat living on our property. The cat loved attention and seemed undernourished so we decided to take it to a vet. I called Heartland and they booked us for the next day.

All of the staff were extremely nice, friendly and helpful. Their facilities were very clean with a waiting room and an examination room designed for cats. The technician and Dr Jorgensen did a thorough examination of the cat, recommended and gave the appropriate vaccinations and scheduled a spay procedure. I am very pleased with the entire experience!“
