“Visiting my elderly mother I noticed the paint pulling away where the chimney brick met the interior walls. With all the rain this season I knew things would continue to worsen and I assumed it was a problem with the flashing. I contacted my insurance agent for a referral and he recommended KC Roofing & Restoration Solutions. This company was more than accommodating and promptly visited Mom's home to review the situation. The hard truth was that the company that had put the existing roof in place had used the incorrect flashing and it had pulled away. The flashing was not meant to be used on masonry. Charles was great to work with and explained what needed to be done with a quick turnaround on the estimate. He answered all my questions and now that the work is completed I am more than happy. During the process today, Charles provided me with photos of the different stages of the work - even found a good match for the existing roofing shingles and used waterproof membrane (like an honest roofer should!) before replacing the shingles and finishing with lead flashing (which is what should have been used previously). Oh, and I also had them replace the chimney "cap" as it was also contributing to the leaking issues. Highly recommend - did not want to have a mold remediation sometime down the road! Great value and peace of mind!“
