“Gracie Jiu Jitsu for the win! I just switched from Taekwondo to the Jiu Jitsu class and I am loving it. The people at the school and in the classes are great. My martial arts journey started here at 48. I would recommend this school for children (Master Coleman is wonderful with children) and adults. As a drug addict and alcoholic in recovery, it was a miracle that I found this school. I have to be surrounded by healthy people to recover. No complaints about Taekwondo classes, Jiu Jitsu was just a better match for my style (perhaps my wrestling and law enforcement background influenced my decision).“
“K2L is a very inclusive group that teaches children and adults life skills from concentration to self confidence to accountability. These are lessons that apply to life, school, and martial arts. I highly encourage anyone to speak with either the Douglas location or the Raintree location.“
“Truly Blue Valley’s best summer camp! We’ve never had a better camp experience and the facility, owners, and coaches are all amazing.“
“Really fun beginner class with a friendly instructor. We went over basic moves, then did some choreography, then finished with some drumming and singing. I really felt like we got a history lesson and a full well-rounded intro to capoeira.“
“I recommend training with Maurice and Kali Combat training, Good teacher good training area practical training for survival in a dangerous world.“
“Great for beginners through advanced players. Great environment and curriculum. Excellent instructors who work with you to be your best self.“
“I trained here off and on for 20 years, 14 hours a week since the age of 5. As a shy kid, this dojo taught me confidence, bravery, and to be ambitious. I proudly competed in all my tournaments under the name "Katzer's Bushidokan" in kata and kumite (sparring). This dojo taught me self defense against weapons of guns, knives, batons, bats, being attacked from behind, on the ground, and from straight on. Believing I was tough enough to fight at such a young age, my sensei allowed me to spar with the adults as a kid, as he would for anyone. I live in California now and when I come by for visits back to KC, I always join a class. It amazes me that Steve Katzer remembers all of his students. Even though I found an Okinawan dojo I now train at, Katzer's Bushidokan will always be dearly close to my heart. Thank you for everything that you do in your student's lives.“
“We had our sons 6th Birthday here and Emily was great. There were 20 rowdy boys, but she kept them engaged and having fun the entire time. I would definitely recommend.“
“A great club that trains both Judo and Jujitsu and has both an adult class and kids class. They have instructors that still compete and have a lot to teach.“
