I love this place! I take all 3 of my animals here. Dr.Toepke in particular was amazing when my dog needed surgery on his paw. The Dr made me and my dog feel very comfortable. The front staff is also super nice and quick getting us checked out!

The care here is wonderful!My dad has been taking his cats to Howdershell Animal Clinic since I was a kid. One of my childhood cats, Hippity Hop, had major surgery done here after she was found mangled when she was just 6 months old. They took off part of her front left leg, part of her back right leg and sewed up her abdomen. She lived to the ripe age of 15 and her life was nothing less than glorious.These days I take in my 18 year old cat, Totter. Two years ago, Dr. Thies and Dr. Vandas, removed Totters left eye due to a cancerous tumor. They are amazing!!! They are very friendly, patient, and really care about the animals they see!!! My wife is the reason we take our pets there as her family always took their pets there and really loved how committed the staff was to provide a great service to their patients and their humans!!! I definitely recommend howdershell animal clinic to anyone needing a good vet in the Florissant, Hazelwood, Bridgeton, St Ann, areas
