I can't say enough about how pleased I am with my experience with Townsend heating and cooling. From the office to the technicians that were in my home, they were professional, courteous and respectful. The trane furnace and air conditioner is so quiet and energy efficient. Unlike some other companies, Townsend took care of getting me all the rebates I was entitled to. I didn't have to do anything. My a/c is working again and for that I’m grateful but your quotes should be a little closer to actual price. I’m already paying an arm and a leg for a blower motor (around $800)that probably only needed a module (around $500)but when I’m expecting under $1000 and it comes in above $1100 it adds to the feeling of being taken advantage of. But like I said my ac is working and minus a hiccup or two the company was very fast and friendly. Sticker shock sucks.Follow upWithout request and totally unexpected they sent a check for the difference between the quote and the final bill. At the end of July, we had an hvac installed by a DIFFERENT company. It wasn't a Trane system. It was also a miserable experience. The unit never worked, the base they made collapsed, had to be reinstalled, over 10 service calls in 3 weeks, added refrigerant 3 times... it was horrible.
