I'm a relatively knowledgeable and capable homeowner who is trying to save a few bucks by repairing my AC myself. I walked into the Benoist store, picked up the part I needed, brought it to the counter, and they refused to do business with me because I'm not a licensed contractor. This contrasts with a 5 star review on Google from another homeowner saying Benoist was very helpful to them. So, which is it?To Benoist's credit, they weren't rude, and they referred me to an electrical parts supplier who they said might be able to help me. Stopped here from out of town and Kyle and Craig is awesome they were very helpful and friendly to me and my fiance I definitely recommend them for hvac supplies and more. They are very welcoming here. Thank you for your kindness
