I manage a veterinary clinic. We have used Trent for a couple years. He did a good job for the most part on our 10 and 40 blades. We would have to re-adjust them when we got them back regularly because they were put back together crooked. No big deal. We had him sharpen a set of sheers that were brand new, never been sharpened before as well as a few blades for our groomer. He made some mistakes when sharpening both the sheers and the wide blades. The tension was off on at least 2 of the sheers. One of the sheers in particular had some more extensive issues when we got them back. She was unable to move the tension knob at all and there was a mark on the knob that was not there before. When my groomer reached out to him about this one, he suggested using pliers on them! I tried to reach out to Trent several times and he did not answer the call. He did however, leave several messages for my groomer asking if she had tried out the blades/sheers yet, admitted his old machine broken and was getting a new one, talked down on her wide blades because don't fit in his machine. He did offer to correct his mistakes which is nice. However, my groomer is not comfortable having him fix them since he did the damage. I asked him to cover the cost to have another company fix them(basically the same cost as refunding me the money we paid for him to damage them in the first place), he refused. He just kept talking in circles about how much he paid for his machine and how long he has been doing this. There were also a lot of discrepancies between what he was telling me and what the other company had told me. The discrepancies were about how the blades need to be sharpened, the cost of the machines, what needs to be used to sharpen them, etc... Trent then tried to accuse my groomer of dropping the scissors and causing the damage. Since he refused to refund me or to cover the cost of the repairs, we will no longer be working with him.
He not only got me in quickly but he came to me & my blades have never cut so nice. They look better than when I got them. 10/10 recommend
The customer service is amazing... we were very happy with the blades he sharpened for us... we definitely recommend Trent's services....
