I went to CEC for a few lessons to gain some confidence after 20 years with no formal training (I have a 7yr old collar bone riding injury that knocked down my confidence- so even though I’ve been riding my entire life, I really needed a confidence boost so that I could ride my new horse comfortably). CEC was exactly what I needed. The trainers are incredibly experienced, kind, to the point, and so friendly and helpful (I worked with three separate folks). My face hurt from smiling so much during each lesson. They let me ask all of my crazy questions about riding, tack and random questions about care for my new horse and answered without any judgement. They also let me switch between Western and English, which helped me assess what type of tack I wanted to buy. Private lessons were fantastic and the semi-private lesson was so much fun. I learned things by watching and listening even when we were taking turns. All in all a fantastic experience, and once I have a truck and trailer I plan to bring my new boy to the stable at least once a month or so for additional training work to keep both of us in check. I literally cannot say enough nice things about these wonderful folks and their amazing lesson horses!
