If you want to go to a salon that is a glorified beauty school with recent graduates, training head mannequins throughout the salon and liars that make up stories about customers that are not true when your stylist is a no show and blames it on the customer, then Salon Artiste is for you. Let me explain the reason for my review. We had an appointment for 1:30 on a Saturday (my normal time I would go), the night before I was called to verify the time and someone changed it to 12:30, I told them I cannot make it at that time, I had something else going on at 12:30 (that is why I made it for 1:30 to begin with) and I was not free until 1:30 or a little before. My mother (we went together to get our hair done) was in the area and stopped by the salon a few minutes after they called me. There was a stylist named Angie working that evening that asked the receptionist to call Michael to see if he could switch it back to the original time at 1:30 instead, still have no idea as to why it changed to 12:30, probably never will. He agreed to the original 1:30 appointment, as he did not have any other customers after our appointment. We got there about 1:10-1:15 on our appointment day and Michael was not there. The very rude person at the front desk who had way to much Covergirl base make up on said, oh you were a no show, so he just left, plus it was his anniversary and he wanted to get home. I think the no show was the stylist not us. I asked why weren't we called, you have my number as you called me the night before, no reply from her. She asked if we wanted for her to call/ text him while we were standing there, which I don't believe she did. We stuck around for a few minutes, but he never called back (probably because he was never called/texted). We left and about 1 minute later the 2 employees in the salon left too, this was 1:45 or so, keep in mind the salon is to be opened until 4. My mother called on that following Monday and talked to the salon owner's mother Robyn (salon manager) to explain what happened. Robyn seemed concerned and said she would call Michael to see what happened. My mother never got a call back. So, I decided to call on Tuesday and of course Robyn's attitude changed completely to side with the lying staff. She said she didn't call back since we said we were not coming back to the salon; I don't recall saying that. She also said it got heated in the salon when we were there and that people left because they felt uncomfortable, funny the only 2 other people there was a young couple that were not even paying attention and on their way out when we came in. I asked for her to please have Michael call me as I only went to him 2 times and he did not seem like the type of person to do something like this. The week came and went and no call from Michael, so I assume Robyn didn't give him the message or he sided with his coworkers. I even found Michael on Instagram that same Saturday evening and explained what happened (his Instagram name is on his business card), still no reply to this day. Michael, if you are smart you need to go work someplace else and look me up when you do, because I still don't believe you would do something like this and what I wrote is the honest truth, I have nothing to gain or lose my lying or making anything up, I am far to old for that and I would never be a no show unless I was in an accident driving to the salon.

michael was super sweet and patient and gave me exactly the style i wanted. i highly recommend this salon. the other stylists and staff are also so friendly and helpful! very comfortable atmosphere ❤️Service: Haircut

Don't bother coming here!!! Worst experience of my life!!! I called last week to make an appointment and notified them that I have a disability which may prevent me from being there. I get there and they said they just had me down for a trim of my bangs not a haircut without a style. She acts very put out and reminds me that they just scheduled me for a trim on my bangs and shrugged her shoulders. She said I will try and fit you in. She did, it took four minutes of her time to fit me in and didn't even blowdry my hair because she was so booked up!! Don't go here!! Unprofessional service!! Won't be back!!
