“Love the concept and the price was reasonable for a very basic exam. There was some confusion because the hours on the website do not match the actual hours. And it was very very loud in the exam room because the walls do not go all the way to the ceiling. My cat was quite freaked out by how loud it was.“

“Family Pet Hospital was one of my favorite vets to take my cats to, and I was so sad to lose them upon moving away from the St. Louis area.Dr. Collins was friendly and so good with both of my cats whenever they needed to go for annual checkups and vaccinations. She would help both animals feel at ease during their visits. If either cats had health issues or needed medications, setting up an appointment or requesting medicine was an easy phone call to the front desk. The receptionists are super friendly and helpful and easy to work with. I would recommend this place 10x over in trusting them with your pet's health!“

“Went to see Dr Chip yesterday as a new client. She got down on the floor with my rescue Bailey and petted and loved on her her throughout our visit, giving her a very thorough exam. When she gave Bailey her vaccine, she did it so Bailey didn't even notice. She spent the time fully listening about Baileys complicated past, showing great empathy and compassion. “Thomas Raymond has been a patient since 2017. He's been fine healthwise regardless of his age. Every time Thomas Raymond gets innoculations, he uses his signature scream. We can all ignore it now. And we laugh. This year his January 3, 2022, annual visit found kidney problems, so they switched him to a Purina kidney diet dry dog food. I was shocked that he liked it. I'm familiar with this KD situation. It happens in older dogs. Thomas Raymond is 16. (My Dad was a veterinarian, and I worked in his hospital.) Then, following a groomer visit February 22, the groomer at Canine Cottage told me his anal glands needed to be excised (squeezed). There are internal and external anal glands. Only the vet can take care of the internal anal glands. So, I called Veterinary Care Center immediately, and got Thomas Raymond an appointment for 9 a.m., February 23. I took him, waited in the parking lot, and he was escorted out anal-gland-free-of-anal goo!!!!! What a wonderful response to my situation! I so appreciate their perpetual friendliness to owners and animals. And their accommodation to Thomas Raymond's situation.“
