Sam came out and did an inspection and provided his recommendation / assessment of our roof.
Insurance agreed that damage was present.
There was no question we would be hiring Sam to complete the roof replacement as he had already been so informative, flexible with insurance rescheduling inspection dates, and communicative.

“When we had hail damage we were looking for a company that could repair/replace our roof, siding and gutters and wanted a hands-on person instead of a large impersonal company. Rich and his crew are top notch. I cannot say enough praise for their work. I am the-pickiest-person, and Rich patiently answered all of my questions and went over every detail to my satisfaction. When we had a question about the gutter installs, he even sent the crew back and they redid them perfectly. Our roof was installed last Fall, and Rich also came back to inspect our roof this Spring, double-checking to make sure everything looked ok after this horrible winter. I like that Rich is hands-on; he doesn't give a quote and walk away. He will be on your job and make sure it is done right. And he uses the same crew, so he knows his workers well. This is a huge plus because many contractors cycle thru many crews. Another plus was that he brings his own dumpster trailer that is on wheels, so there was no need for a typical big heavy dumpster sitting on our lawn for days and killing our lawn.Our roof looks so much better and his crew found and fixed many mistakes the workers on our prior roofing job had made (correcting missing roof hole covers, fixing the inaccurately installed chimney flashing, & correcting how the ridge vent looked). The result is we are much happier with the look of our roof. The siding crew was excellent - absolutely perfect in the installation and they even had some challenges in a section over our front door; the result is it couldn't look better - it is like having a new house! In obtaining bids, Rich also was the only person who was willing to be on the job site to personally help open up our roof in an area where we added extra insulation. He did the work himself! Rich is very kind and professional and goes above and beyond for his customers. We are so glad that we found Tonka Roofing and will use Rich for all our future roofing/siding needs!
