We have enjoyed the convenience of the YMCA. It is within walking distance of our house. The family membership is reasonably priced. The gym has a running track that goes around the upper floor of the gym. It has treadmills, weight room, and racketball. It has a two indoor pools, one for kids and one for adults with a big slide. It has a big gymnasium with basketball hoops. Some people play pickleball in gymnasium. Our biggest complaint is that they increased the membership twice within a year. The first time they let us know, but the second time they didn’t. When we asked them about it, they said they sent a letter, but we never got it.

Tried to sign up, but they told me I had to be married to get a couple's rate. Then they started charging me in the month I got married without telling me. I never authorized this and it was an unpleasant surprise on a vacation to find that they'd just started taking my money.

Welcoming staff and excellent facilities make up the Y. Were long time members and now we get to stop in when back in Willmar. So appreciate their commitment to the community and county. Our kids all grew up with the Y and participated in their organized sport activities. Our youngest was also able to attend YMCA Daycare and Pre-School which were excellent!
