“Our 17-year old furnace stopped working in late December. I tried fixing it myself through YouTube and HVAC forum research, to no avail. After buying and replacing a part, I finally broke down and called in reinforcement.Tom Schneider has entered the chat.I called him around 6:30 pm on a weeknight, and he was over to our home in Eden Prairie within 25 minutes. After 45 minutes of diagnostics, he had fixed our furnace.A few things I appreciated about Tom:1) He has a wealth of experience (35 years) working on heating and air.2) He is local and self-employed, not part of some big national operation. When I called his numer, he picked up (not some dispatcher from a remote location).3) He is honest and transparent. He did not even remotely hint or suggest that I should replace our furnace, which he could easily have done in light of its age.4) He talked me through what he was working on and what his solution was. He also told me what could go wrong in the future, for me to be prepared for that.5) His pricing was reasonable for an emergency call.“

“Hands down the best HVAC company in the Twin Cities. We had issues with our furnace going out on Saturday the 11th. We had another company come in and charge us an absurd fee just to diagnose it and they tried to tell us a switch was broken and it'd cost $500-$600 to fix it and we'd be better off replacing the furnace with it's age. I contacted Marques and he came out and looked at everything. Turns out our capacitor needed to be replaced, our filter wasn't operating properly with the way our furnace was setup and the switch the other company said was broken was in fact not broken at all.Marques is the most knowledgeable person with HVAC I've ever interacted with and he makes it very easy to understand and explains everything thoroughly. He advised us to change our filter type and how often we're doing it because of limitations of our furnace and replaced our capacitor. He was here about an hour to make sure that everything was up and functioning fully and it cost us a grand total of $150. “We had an issue with our new build and Jaimie, came out himself to figure out why our AC was not working to it's capacity. He checked the actual unit and also was knowledgeable about manufacturing defects that could have affected it and fixed the piece it needed. I am so glad they didn't just brush us off and actually wanted to see what the problem was and corrected it. A true dishonest company would have taken our money to upgrade our unit as we had thought we needed to do but instead they have morals and true business practices. They have a customer for life and I would recommend them to anyone.“

We got a couple of quotes, including one through the membership services of a club retailer. The quote from Peak was comparable to the great membership deal, and we got better equipment!

The installation was great. Josh, Caleb, and Jason are courteous, professional, efficient, and genuinely the nicest guys.

We had a big job replacing the 30 year old furnace and AC units, and running new duct for our dryer. In the beginning of the installation day the space looked like chaos, but by the end they had the space looking awesome and in better shape than when they arrived. They gave us a great tutorial inside and out on the system and maintenance.
