The care given to the patients is amazing, you do not feel rushed ! I had nurses literally in the room treating me for over an hour at a time!!! for the most part I received decent care... but because my an employee made the care decrease as they did not follow up with cleaning of site and trying for when going home How they treat their employees is not good, they do it make sure you work in a safe environment, when you report bullying they praise the people doing the bulling, and then grab as straws to terminate the staff who did not feel safe at work. Their training program is horrible and they constantly have a swing door of staff. From December 2024 through November 2024 n once department they lost 10 staff member. They will also blatantly loom at you and tell you that the accommodations made by your medical provider will be denied and they do not need to follow the request. They also will tell you they will no lt allow ADA accommodations because they stated they do no t see a disability, so I do not have e one, and that is externally against the law-
My husband and I showed up at this medical facility for what we thought was a scheduled MRI for him. We were told that he did not meet the policy and protocol for an MRI even though when he made the appointment he said he would pay out of pocket as the doctor on call for his primary physician (who was on vacation for weeks) would not consent. We were waiting for his scheduled appointment when we were told it was not a possibility. He has been ailing without resolution and we hoped having an MRI would help explain his symptoms and we had related prior to the appointment and at the appointment that that we would pay out of pocket for this procedure. We needed answers and were caught in a medical red tape dilemma. Cindy, the MRI supervisor was emphatic and caring. She worked tirelessly to get the procedure okayed spending much effort and time. We were at this hospital for hours as Cindy "fought" for us to get the procedure green lighted. We ended up leaving without my husband getting the MRI. The only positive out of this ordeal was Cindy. More hospitals need a compassionate and caring person on the patient's side like Cindy. Thank you, Cindy Ginny and Tom
I gave birth to both my babies here, one in 2021 and the other 4 months ago in February. It was important for me that they were born here as I was a ridgeview baby and my mom actually was too (back when it was Waconia hospital). Both times were spectacular but this last round really stood out. I had a scheduled induction at 9pm, they were completely swamped with unplanned babies & almost canceled on me. Instead they called in a nurse just to come in to help with my induction - she was a hoot! I was so thankful we didn’t have to reschedule. After being induced, my daughter also was having “lates (spelling?)” during my contractions, thankfully the charge nurse convinced...read full review
