“I had bought 18 six foot tall by six foot wide Techny Arborvities with a 500 lb. burlap covered root ball that were delivered 4 weeks early. I found MTM contracting during an internet search. When I told the owner Travis, the jamb I was in, he went out of his way to bring his crew to my place ASAP and they did a 14 hour day to get them all planted. They were literally working by spot lights in the dark to get done. Travis kept me informed throughout the day and made sure I was good with spacing and backfilling and mulching along the way. He was very professional and genuinely cared that I got the finish product that I had envisioned. The trees look great, transformed my entire yard in one long day!!! “Joe and the Lakeshore Guys are extraordinary! We contacted Lakeshore Guys by email and Joe, the owner, responded within two hours. We were interested in about 50 feet of rip rap along our shoreline. Before any commitment on our part or their part, Joe asked us to send pictures so he could ‘guesstimate’ the cost. So-o-o, we went down to the lakeshore and took (many) pictures of the shoreline. We came back and uploaded the pictures and identified some of the features we hoped to include in the project. Again, within an hour, Joe came up with a ‘top end’ proposal at twice the cost we had calculated from information on the web site. I got back to Joe asking why the estimate was so much more than we had expected. He was back to us within the hour and explained that the dollar amount on the website was for a ‘best case’ scenario. Who ever has a ‘best case’ situation??!! We certainly didn’t; for example, we had a steep incline down to the lake making it difficult to bring equipment and supplies into the site. Again, within an hour, Joe had an alternate (affordable) estimate for the project. I mention these details to point out that communication and negotiation with Joe as the ‘face’ of the organization was exemplary!!<br>Joe assigned an outstanding crew for our project. Mike and Jared led a group of young men who showed commitment to detail from start to finish. Mike laid down plywood to protect the hillside so the equipment would not damage the grass; he also ‘prepped’ the area by skillfully excavating the site and creating the 50-foot opening we wanted. Meanwhile, the younger members set up the time lapse camera, installed the silt fence, and schlepped smaller tools from the staging area in our backyard to the shoreline. Then, everyone engaged in creating the bed for the bottom line of the rip rap and laying the lining for the higher rows of rock. The subsequent two days involved laying the rip rap and creating the splash apron (creating a lovely transition from the grassy area to the rip rap.) I observed each crew member individually lay each rock, so they nestled against each other in a near seamless line. Their work included re-grading and re-seeding the areas affected by equipment movement and transferring rock. This attention to detail was impressive!<br>We highly recommend Lakeshore Guys for your project! You can expect efficient, expert communication in planning. You will be ‘over the top’ pleased with the finished project!“

“Joe and his guys were fantabulous! Not only did they remove an ice dam for us this week (causing a major leak in our kitchen) but only a few months ago, Ron and the crew completed a large landscaping project for us. We just can’t say enough good things about Joe, his guys, and his company. They not only landscaped our yard beautifully, but they showed up the same day we called them to remove our ice dams. Just a few years ago we had some major damage done to our old home, and the last thing we wanted was to go through that fiasco ago with our new home. We were only calling them to ‘recommend’ an ice dam removal company, and next thing you know (2 hours later) they are on our roof removing our ice dam! They are certainly not cheap (IMO) but they were/are worth every dime we spent. I’m not sure there is any amount of money that would get either one of us up on an icy roof in the dead of winter. No thank you!If you’re looking for quality landscaping, or if you happen to need urgent help with a pesky ice dam, these are your guys. “Ultimately, no words can express my sincere thanks and gratitude to this company. My husband and I moved into a new house outside cities limits so the builder did not have to install a finished yard (not a tree, sod, sprinkler, nothing at all) before we moved in. We called multiple landscaper to come out and give us some insight on giving us a lawn and landscaping. Some showed up to quote us (outrageous amounts) and others said they would send a quote and ghosted us from there. We had given up hope this year when I saw their truck in our neighborhood. I literally ran in front of their truck and asked them for landscaping help. Josh was more than willing to walk our 5 acres to assess cost, project work and what could be done. Not only did he provide an almost immediate quote, HE contacted the builder and set-up an appointment with the siding folks to mark out where siding had to be adjusted for a retaining wall. Above and beyond I tell ya and it doesn't stop there.The day they came out to do the massive boulder retaining wall, Jesse one of the owners, told me that my husband did a great job putting in edging but that if we wanted, he would finish everything for us and allow the work to finally be finished. He also noticed that our downspout was causing erosion issues and offered to install a pop-up so that the gutter water problem was a thing of the past. And, called a plumber to come out and install a overflow system on the spot. The men were extremely professional, played and talked with my 3/6 year old kids and detailed orientated. These men can be very busy and focused but never ignored us and were always available for questions, concerns and changes.1 day after we had everything completed, my husband saw one of their trucks with a beautiful maple tree sitting in back. I sent an email over to Josh who immediately got back to me stating he and his team would be more than happy to add 2 maple trees to our invoice and install them for an extremely reasonable price within the next week. Now that is customer service at its finest.We lived in a 5 acre sandbox and no one would help us in a city we were not familiar with. These gentlemen not only helped us, but have customers for life and I will ONLY recommend this company for future family and friends. Well done guys, well done. Thank you a million times over.“
