I normally am not the type of person to write reviews, but this place warranted one! Phil is amazing at what he does, and speedy fast. I called to book (or he does walk ins), arrived day-of and got my cut. It took less than 15min start to finish and is exactly what I wanted. There was no judgement (being openly LGBT/trans), no expectation to talk, and he was really professional. Was $21 before tip which is really cheap (my old barber was $36 before tip). Could not recommend enough.

Decided to try Phil’s after my old barber made a series of mistakes. Found him via google maps and despite the few reviews, they were all glowing so I gave it a shot. I am so glad I did. Phil was extremely professional and quick. It’s obvious he takes pride in his work and his business. He does seem to specialize in shorter crops, fades, lineups, etc which is definitely not my hairstyle, but even then he did a very clean job. Would recommend to any south St. Paul local

Jim is by far the best barber in town. If you don't mind the wait, he'll turn any mop of a head of hair into a stunning art piece. Not to mention, he's very friendly and open to talk about anything.
