“We have hired many gardening services and gardeners. No one, even some of the big names in town, parallel the experience we just had with Beds and Borders. Our project was BIG and included leveling out a walkway plus adding better support as well as a re-do of front and back (very large space) greenery. They built some large planters for annuals in the big horseshoe back yard as well as moved around some existing pots. They brought in irrigation people to make sure everything worked correctly and made the pots self-watering. They cleaned up everything before they left. My favorite things working with Andy and his team is that are super good and quick communicators and are completely straight-shooter. They explain everything well, kept me involved as needed, answered questions and more. I could not be happier! Now if this 2024 rain would finally abate!“

“We had a large, 2-tier boulder wall installed in our backyard by Hartman Companies and they did a fantastic job. Each tier was over 75 feet long and 3-4 feet high, so it was an intensive installation that involved a lot of earth moving and careful construction.Seth from Hartman was amazing. A thorough walk-through of the job, honest and straight-forward recommendations, reasonable pricing, fast communication - he really ticked every box we could have hoped for. The crews worked fast and were courteous of neighbors and the rest of our yard, they cleaned up very well at the end and the finishing work was great. Lots of attention to little details, which helped to really put that added polish. I would not hesitate to recommend Hartman for big landscaping projects again. “John, Jared, and Joe are an incredible team and completed the near impossible task of removing prior shoreline steel seawall and replacing it with a wood retaining wall combined with rock riprap. They did all their work in the middle of winter and obtained the required permit from the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District. The permit required a variance from the like-kind replacement rule and took about 9 months, 2 consulting engineers, and lots of sketches and drawings. They couldn't have obtained the permit unless the MCWD trusted them to play by the rules and do it right. The combined retaining wall and riprap was about 130 ft of shoreline.
