My wife and I had a wonderful experience working with the team at Sew What!. They were VERY generous with their time (opening early and staying open late) to fit our complex scheduling needs. The service was speedy and done on the date that was expected. She gave great advice and helped make our wedding dress visions come true! Amazing work and even better people! This is my go-to spot for tailoring and alterations! In the spring of 2023, I brought a bridesmaid dress in with a short timeframe until the wedding (about a week and a half), and the work done was perfect, on time, and affordable. Because of this experience, I brought both my wedding dress and wedding jumpsuit in to be altered and shortened last month for my wedding coming up in 2 weeks. The time taken to go over details and to make ensure that everything would be to my satisfaction is second to none!! Customer service is also outstanding!! I was looking for a local seamstress to take care of a few things on my wedding dress for me -- I needed some straps altered, a hem, and a bustle. I decided to go with Sew What because of the positive reviews, but was still sooooo nervous about leaving my wedding dress in the hands of a stranger.
I picked up my dress yesterday and to say that I'm pleased is the biggest understatement. She was such a good listener about what I wanted, took her time while measuring me for the alterations, and the quality of the work itself is just incredible.
