Always a good experience, I have had several cleanings as well as a few fillings and crowns done here. Dr. Thomas is the best. They also take great care and are super patient with my autistic daughter who gets very anxious about having her teeth cleanings done.
We found the practice about 5 or 6 years ago just from Google. Thought we’d give it a shot and now can’t imagine anything else. We have 2 kids that have been patients for a few years. We just had to do our first fillings and sealants and they literally left the dentist telling me they can’t wait to come back. Dr. Thomas did so amazing with them and Stefanie is my kids’ absolute favorite. They’re patient, kind, energetic, fun, and help the kids understand what’s happening without giving them too much information that would scare them. I had previously tried out 2 other places in the twin cities when I was new to the area. The place I went to before this one wanted to do 3 fillings on me at my next appointment. When I did my next appointment at Bob Maley’s instead of the other clinic, he said I didn’t need any fillings, showed me where the “watch spots” were and taught me about when and how teeth can remineralize. No one had ever done that before. 5 years later and I still don’t need those 3 fillings because those spots remineralized on their own! If I would have gotten those fillings recommended by the other dental clinic I would have needed to keep getting them replaced in my lifetime and maybe even end up with crowns. Instead, someone looked at my actual history, compared X-rays, and taught me about remineralization on my enamel. My husband hates switching doctors/dentists/etc. and even he switched and it grateful that he did. I know this is the longest review ever. But sometimes anecdotal stories can be helpful. I’m glad Dr. Maley brought in Dr. Thomas a few years ago. We never want to go anywhere else!
After a few too many years away from the dentist, I had a filling come out and had no idea where to turn. Luckily my dad had seen Dr. Maley and Dr. Thomas previously and sent me their way. From the front office staff to every other staff member I interacted with it was a painless experience and they even calmed my nerves about my first ever crown. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
