After interviewing several advisors I went with Quarry Hill Advisors. Kyle and his team have been responsive, professional and personable, Their investment strategies and philosophy and financial approach / overview checked all my boxes.

My wife and I met with Kyle from Quarry Hill in 2021 while looking for a new financial advisor. We had an introductory meeting where Kyle listened to our situation and asked some great questions about what we needed in an advisor and told us about what they do and a bit about how they work.We felt great in that initial meeting and set up a follow up meeting where Kyle was able to explain their philosophy (important), how they make money (also very important) and specifically what services they would be able to provide to us.That second meeting was helpful because after learning about what we were looking for Kyle was able to ask something to the effect of "Are you looking for a guidebook? Or are are you looking for a sherpa?" I am sure those weren't his exact words, but the point was... Quarry Hill really focuses on taking the burden of managing money for folks who either have little interest in doing all the work themselves or just have better things to do with their time; they are really good Sherpas. Turns out, my wife and I both really felt like we wanted to play a more active role in managing our finances, but were mostly looking more for occasional guidance. Kyle was very generous and recommended a specific local advisor who would be more of a fit and cost less. We followed that advice and ended up going with his recommended advisor.I really value the time he spent with us. I really felt like he had our best interest at heart and I would highly recommend meeting with them if you're looking for a full-service advisory.

I was a customer of Ameriprise for over 11 year. My Ameriprise advisor "sold" me several Ameriprise products that paid large commissions to him but were a terrible investment for me. In addition, I was unable to get a straight answer about the amount I was being charged for their service, getting answers like, "Oh not much." and " It just comes out before you even see it." My portfolio dropped by nearly 40% during my time with Ameriprise, my advisor retired, hummm, my wife and I basically had to sell our home, that was paid for. We later discovered we were being billed for questions we asked, the total amount being around 3%. Quarry Hill has been the complete opposit. Flat 1% with no "hidden" fees and unlimited questions with no additional charge and unparalleled investment savoy. I couldn't recommend them highper. And by the way, we have more money to live on than before and our investments are increasing at the same time.
