What a LOVELY experience -- Thank you Robin!!! My receiving a haircut that functions as I'd like it to is near impossible, my whole life. In my case these days, a short bob that is cut to easily flip UP. So, I was THRILLED to receive this at my first time visiting First Design. My neighbor had told me about this location and about Robin, so thank you Lowell, but mostly thank you ROBIN! She's super friendly, actually listens to you, and knows what she is doing, and then gives that to you!!! Why is this so difficult, is what I never understand if I go to other places?! So, please give this location a try if you're hoping to have your hair cut by someone who cares about your desires and needs, and delivers, ALL at an affordable cost -- THANK YOU, Robin!!!

Robin did a great job! I highly recommend her and her shop.I've had other people just race through cutting my hair. She took her time and it shows. My cut turned out great!Thanks, Robin ?

great haircut + conversation! This is not the first time I've had my hair cut here but i was surprised at how great the cut was and what i was missing (attention to detail and genuine desire to give the customer a good result) at other places I've been going... Although the interior is a bit 'eclectic', it does feel cozy and gives you a good honest downtown St. Paul neighborhood vibe. Dave (has been working there 52 years!) gave me a great cut while entertaining me and making me laugh along the way. I totally recommend paying him a visit... He works Tues-Friday and charges $21 cash preferably... I cant even imagine the last time i had such a good haircut for that low of a price. ((Ps. They're located in the skyway))
