I have been apart of Capoeira Minnesota for many years and it's been the most incredible of community events both indoors and out for both my children and I. I highly recommend joining. The richness of it's culture and background has integrated to the Twin Cities in the most profound of ways. Incredible learning experience and opportunities for growth. If you're wanting to try dance, music and martial arts sign up as soon as you can!
I joined Capoeira Minnesota several months ago. I am impressed with the many skilled capoeiristas who are willing to help new students learn the skills required. There is a real sense of community among the group. Many skills are taught: musical instruments, singing, language as well as culture.
My son has been taking Capoeira classes for a few months now, and he is absolutely loving it. Capoeira is not just about learning martial art movements, but also about music, Portuguese, and singing. Guerreiro is an absolutely amazing instructor. He has a deep passion for Capoeira, which you can see when he teaches.
I also attend adult classes whenever my flying job allows me to. Guerreiro fosters a welcoming and inclusive community. The atmosphere in the class is one of camaraderie and mutual support, which makes learning even more enjoyable. In both the kids’ and adult classes, you can
