About rochester clinic
Rochester Clinic is a private, family-owned medical practice established in 2010 in Rochester, MN. Bringing together providers who embrace the same core values and have a distinct passion for care, the clinic believes that every person is unique and therefore, so should the treatment. They act on the notion that conservative options should be exhausted before invasive ones are considered, and that interdisciplinary collaboration is the best way to design treatment plans and prevent recurrence. Rochester Clinic operates with a whole-person approach, aiming to assess root causes of conditions rather than simply managing symptoms with medications. Their focus on preventative care is strengthened by the adoption of lifestyle medicine. Patients have expressed a wonderful experience at the clinic, praising the staff and physicians for their patient-centered approach. Dr. Lai, a podiatrist, is particularly commended for his extensive training, sharp diagnostic skills, and humble bedside manner. He is known to exhaust all conservative treatment options before considering surgery, and his attention to detail in customizing orthotics has helped patients enjoy a pain-free life. Overall, Rochester Clinic is a holistic, patient-focused practice that takes a comprehensive approach to healthcare, empowering patients through education and personalized treatment plans.
The experience here so far has been wonderful. I believe in the lifestyle medicine they are doing, and it’s very holistic. They show they care and are very elaborate to help get to the root issues of my health concerns. Thank you!

With his extensive training in biomechanics as NIH fellow at Mayo Clinic, he is a sharp physician with humble bedside manner. The nice thing about a non-surgical podiatrist is that he would exhaust...read full review
Yesterday, I saw Dr. Lai because I thought I broke my right foot. Which is my dominant side. I had a sharp pain every time I walked on it. An initial examination showed him my right leg is longer than my left leg (I've never known this, but is apparently not unusual) and I have high arches... not good. Why has no doctor ever told me this? Thank goodness I went to someone who specializes in feet!! Because of my high arches, I am putting alot of weight on the front of my foot which is not good. An xray showed that I also have arthritis in my foot. I can just imagine if I hadn't been wearing flat shoes all these years or if I had been a runner, how my foot would even be...read full review
