“John did an excellent job helping me get my new PC up and running. He communicated extremely well and was very prompt on his service. For the quality of work, there is no other place that beats the price.“
“They diagnosed a problem with the screen protruding from the case on my Pixel 6 phone. The battery had expanded. New battery ordered & installed. Quick and reasonable.“
“Bob was great. He answered the phone fast, was flexible with time, and he did great work. He even answered my silly computer question. Highly recommend.“

“Banyon Data has worked very well for our city needs. Fund accounting, payroll and utility billing work together for ease. Some staff have went over and beyond to help when I have questions or something that just isn't going the way I want :). Very happy with BDS!“
“I woke up to an error message on my PC asking to select a boot drive. Upon resetting, I was able to boot ok, but then I got a BSoD a few hours later. After a few hours of troubleshooting in the BIOS, booting in safe mode, etc, the situation eventually degraded until I couldn't even get a post.

A short google search later, I called Pure Tech Solutions late on a Friday and Michael was quick to respond. He came to my home and picked up my PC that evening. Saturday morning he called me with his diagnosis. explained in detail his suggested repair plan, and quoted a very accurate estimate of the turnaround time and cost. My PC had two issues (actually 3, we'll get there): the boot drive had a power failure, and my GPU died. He replaced the boot drive (500GB 3.5" SSD to 1TB NVMe) and threw in a baseline GPU (my mobo doesn't have onboard video chipset) to get me up and running. Sunday evening he returned my PC, I submitted my payment online, and that was it!

Unfortunately, that's not where this story ends. I ordered a GPU replacement and waited for that to arrive (1 week) before booting again. Sounds silly but I wasn't in too big a rush, as I was looking into a data recovery option for my dead SSD. The GPU got delayed 4 days so I figured ah what the heck, let's boot it up now. To my surprise, it didn't post. Tried swapping display types to no avail, I immediately contacted Michael. Once again it was on a Friday afternoon, and again he responded right away. I explained the issue and wanted to schedule for Sunday but I had a conflict so we decided Monday, right along with the GPU delivery. Due to scheduling conflicts it was ultimately pushed to Tuesday evening, where he came over for an in-home repair.

Within minutes he diagnosed the issue - this time 2 out of my 4 RAM sticks died. Have I mentioned yet that this is a 9-10 year-old PC? I have been aware for a while now it was "on its last legs" but had been dragging my feet on moving my data and starting a new build. There was a nasty thunderstorm the night before I woke up to the error message, a sudden power outage may have been the culprit to finally knock out a component or two but who knows. Anyway, Michael didn't charge anything extra for the follow-up appointment! I will just grab some new cheap DDR3 replacement sticks and be on my way.

Regarding the dead SSD: After declining a service from a different repair service that was willing to open it up (that or spend $1k at a local data recovery service), I prompted Michael with the question while we were wrapping up the 2nd appt. He suggested a data recovery service that will save me literally HUNDREDS of dollars and I am SO happy because I was NOT looking forward to having to spend $1k for less than 500GB worth of data. I seriously cannot thank Michael enough for sharing this with me, along with the rest of the amazing services he provided.

Big kudos to Michael for being so flexible with scheduling, swift in his diagnoses and repair, available whenever you need, and always willing to go the extra mile to make things easier for YOU! I didn't have to leave my home at all for any of this work, not that I would have minded dropping it off, but its an extra layer of convenience that I appreciate. On top of all this, the price was very fair and reasonable especially considering the follow-up situation. I'd highly recommend Pure Tech Solutions to anyone looking for reliable and affordable expertise in PC repair!“
