“The best haircut I have had since moving to MN. It is really difficult to find a barber who listens and executes an idea well. Robert was quick, friendly, and did an amazing job. No awkward pauses or feeling made fun of for choosing a none normal haircut style. I will 100% be using him as my barber going forward. His schedule is filling up quick and is sometimes a little far out, but that is just because he is the best in the state.“

“I’ve been coming to this place for the last month, was looking for a reliable barber with a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. Absolutely love this place. Extremely professional, hands down the best barbers I’ve ever had. I came in and asked them to do a fade up on the sides and make the top not look like Guile from street fighter. I had some time before an appointment so I just swung by Premier Shaves to see if I could get a haircut. Luckily there was a gap in their appointments and the barber was kind enough to fit me in. The cut was exceptional and the conversation during the cut was great as well. I couldn't recommend Premier Shaves more highly and if you are ever in the maple grove area looking for a cut you couldn't find a better place.“

This is one of the few places ANYWHERE with a solid 5.0 star review and I understand why now.

I walked in after 6+ months of growth, hoping to maintain the length and get a proper sculpt/trim. I had issues in the past with growing my beard long which were exacerbated by less than stellar shave/sculpt/trim experiences at other shops. The finished sculpt never looked as sharp or as good as I would have hoped and often in spite of my clear instructions to maintain the length the first thing they would do is shorten the length of my beard with a trimmer. It was to the point that I genuinely believed a long beard would never look right on my face.

Johnathan is someone who is clearly a master in his trade. He was incredibly friendly, courteous and professional, and effortless in his ability to clearly communicate everything he was doing (and why), and ensure that my wishes were followed. There is a clear difference in the level of service you will receive here vs. another shop or standard chain. My expectations were met or exceeded at every level and would recommend this shop anyone, especially if you are looking to maintain a long beard.

I have never felt more confident in my appearance with a beard than after my experience at Top Shave Lounge.

She seemed confident, so I decided to see what happens. To be honest, I was a little nervous during the cut, mainly because it was mostly done with a clipper and comb (very little scissor work, no guard on the clipper for the sides like I'm used to), but the result was a fantastic cut.
