“My kitchen sink drain plugged up and my attempts to unplug it were unsuccessful. So I called my heating/cooling contractor (Tonna Mechanical) and they immediately recommended Rochester Drain-Rite without my even asking for a recommendation. I called RDR and they gave me a same day appointment. The technician arrived on time after sending me a text stating that he was on his way. I showed him the situation and he brought in his electric powered snake and sent it in 50 ft. Surprisingly it didn't unplug the drain. So he next connected a water hose to the nearby wash tub and inserted the other end (with some sort of gadget attached) into the drain pipe and then turned on the tub faucet to pressurize the drain line. After a short time a noticeable pop was heard and the drain was then determined to be now clear. He and I then discussed the situation afterwards and it was determined that the cause of the plug was a bowl of rice that had been earlier send down the garbage disposal. The rice got wet and expanded in the drain pipe and completely plugged it. The technician (Herald) was obviously knowledgeable and competent and did a professional job. He stated that rice (and sometimes egg shells) was the number one cause of plugs like mine. He also noticed that there was a slight leak in the drain piping under the sink which he also fixed by replacing some piping and seals. Before leaving he completely cleaned up the area. It was a job well done and I was happy with the result and was also happy with the fee that was charged. I had previously estimated to myself that it would be considerably higher than was it was.“

“Chris built a nice deck for me three years ago and it’s holding up well.
He also finished most of the basement and put in some built ins few years ago, and I hope he will take on a bathroom installation project this year.
Not everything was perfect and it largely depends on subcontractor he uses, but overall all of the work is pretty solid and he definitely can be trusted. The deck was built by Chris directly and it is my favourite project so far.“

“Beautiful work!! Cant speak more highly of the workmanship and quality of cabinets they build. From the designing stages all the way to cleaning up after install was super smooth and effortless. Doug was fantastic to work with and makes things very stress free and very knowledgeable about the entire process! Customer service was top notch even after install was completed. I needed a few small things after install and they had guys over the very next day. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend using them!“
