“My mother and I got our nails done here yesterday. Was able to call in easily to schedule an appointment and didn’t have to wait long. They did a really good job with my acrylics and offer numerous services as well. This will be my new go-to spot! Staff is really friendly and I recommend always calling before you go to know their availability and wait time. Price wise is pretty average. I paid $50 for a fill which is the same everywhere else but compared to other places they did a really good job.“

This time, I told her it was my birthday next week and my last day of teaching, so we had some fun with these! Tracy loves what she does and we always have great conversation. “A friend recommended Cryptid in response to my plaintive request on FB for a hair salon that would actually shave the areas of my head I wanted shaved and not A) give me an A-line bob or shaggy pixie or 'Karen' hair, B) make sad noises over what a shame it was to cut 'such nice hair'. My hair was long, not nice, and it needed to go away. I called and left a message, Abbey called me back and set up an appointment and this past week I went in and she shaved where I wanted it shaved and cut the rest to the length I'd asked. It was extremely satisfying to watch the hair go away. I love the cut, I really like the ambiance of the salon and the bright, cheerful colours everywhere. Will definitely be back the next time I need my hair shaved off!“
