“I called last minute at 4 PM on July 4th and a very nice gentleman told me they were closing early however to come in and they will do my dip manicure. To be honest I was expecting for them to rush through my manicure just because of the time and holiday, but I was dead wrong!! Tina took her time and didn’t rush me while I was choosing the color nor did she rush during any part of doing my nails.

Other salons I’ve been to usually rush during the color picking process because they want to get on with the nails part, not here! I was the last customer in the salon because she was so meticulous and took her time. She also asked me a few times throughout the process if the shape, color and design were all looking okay for me!

The staff here are very kind and gentle. This was my first time here and will not be my last!“

“Naly is sooo sweet and kind! I'm new to the area and have been looking for a new and clean nail tech. Emphasis on clean. I've never been to an independent nail tech before and I'm so glad I found Naly! Her place is incredibly clean and her work is neat. I did not feel rushed during my appointment and she was willing to accommodate my last minute needs. I originally only booked a regular pedi, and wanted to upgrade to gel pedi + a gel mani, and she immediately accommodated my request and even stayed 40 mins past her closing time to fit me in! I am a very timid and do not like to confront anyone even if I did not like something. However, Naly made me very comfortable throughout the whole process. She constantly asked about my comfort throughout my appt and whether the color chosen was to my liking. My gel mani and pedi cost about $100 total. But honestly I would be paying pretty much the same amount at a busy, unhygienic, run-down nail salon with horrible service. The service you get w Naly is 10x better! I will be back!“

“Came in as a walk in with my best friend, We were immediately greeted and seated for our services, there was bit of a wait (no more than 15 mins ). Brian gave me a beautiful pink and white ombré full set, he was very professional and has a great sense of humor. Very clean and beautiful salon, which to my knowledge is fairly new to the area. Great addition to the Shoreview/North Oaks area :) !“

“I have been going to NC nails for about a year now and I’ve always had a great experience. The staff is so friendly and welcoming every time. Even when they’re busy, they take their time to make sure they give you the best service. I’ve gotten pedicures and manicures and recommend both! Prices are also fair.

“Booked an appointment online pretty easily, and though I was not able to see the stylist I was originally scheduled to see, I was rebooked for the following day. It’s a fun and eclectic feel once you’re inside, courteous staff and it felt pretty inclusive in terms of staff having knowledge of all hair types and textures. I wish they did more to fight the pink tax though. Would highly recommend. There are plenty of parking options, and the nursery next door is a must see.“

“Requested style: I prefer liquid gel, last minute, and to clean up what a different stylist did at a different location. They got me in, even though they were getting ready to close, and they beautified my nails! Very pleased! They have a return customer.“

“Nail Ninja is by far the best nail salon experience I've had -- every artist I've seen has been super meticulous and exceeded my standards. None of my manicures have chipped, and I usually go six weeks or more between them. They do dry manicures, which means your nails don't weaken from soaking in acetone, and I've never gotten nicked during the filing process. The ambiance of the salon is nice too -- good music, lighting, decor, etc. And they always offer water and coffee when you check in! Plus, I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for my manicure to start.“
