About LA Fitness
LA Fitness offers a comprehensive fitness experience at an excellent value. The gym features state-of-the-art equipment and a range of amenities, including basketball courts, a pool, saunas, and a Kids Klub. It is modern, clean, and never too crowded, making it a preferred location among fitness enthusiasts. The club is well-maintained with easy access from the freeway. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and understanding, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly. The facilities are generally nice, with less wait time for gym equipment. The pool is a major reason for joining, and there is plenty of equipment available, making it a good substitute for other locations that have closed. However, some machines can be hard to use when busy, and the gym has experienced issues with cleanliness, as some machines are not always wiped down after use. The women's locker room has fixtures that sometimes don’t work properly, and hardware on bathroom stalls and workout equipment shows signs of rust and wear. The floors in the shower and bathroom area are slippery, especially since rubber mats are no longer provided, which can be hazardous. The cardio equipment is located on the upper level with a view, but it can get too warm sometimes. The gym used to be open until midnight, which was helpful for many schedules, but now closes at 10 on weekdays. The basketball gym closes at 8 pm, and the child center is no longer open. Despite these minor issues, LA Fitness remains a popular choice due to its wide range of amenities and supportive atmosphere. However, some additional improvements could include more cleaners for the machines and addressing the cleanliness in the men's bathrooms. Overall, this LA Fitness location is one of the nicer options in the area, with a functional training area that is bigger and better than most.
Modern, clean, never too crowded, and the equipment is rarely out of order. If you're scared away by the surrounding neighborhood, don't be. I've never felt unsafe here, and I grew up in the suburbs
This is one of the nicer LAF locations in the area. The functional training area is bigger and better than most of the LAF's. I like that they have Life Fitness brand ellipticals, Star Trac brand leg press, and two C2 brand rowers. They also have a few Olympic lifting racks which is nice, although all their racks and cable fly machines fill up quickly, so I would like to see more of those available. This location is always a bit annoyingly crowded in the barbell/dumbbell/cable area. Some additional downsides that could use improvement: basketball gym closes at 8 pm, machines are often covered in dust, child center is no longer open, lack of dumbbells in lower ranges under...read full review
It is very good and nice. I really like 2 things to improve, put more cleaners for the machines and really put something in the men's bathrooms because it smells terrible, very bad.
