The doctors and nurses are amazing, but the people office staff especially the people handling the urgent calls to the in call doc. I had major surgery in the morning and by 9pm I was doubled over in pain and was rapidly swelling at the surgical site. Yes I probably should have gone straight to the ER, but I called for the on call. They told me 30min max. I called back at 30min exactly per my watch. I was transferred to a "triage" person to address this and I believe this her name was Latisha or Latasha. She rudely informed me"the doctor had 5 more minutes to get back to you." I explained I needed help soon and she told me to call back in 5min and the 30min "clock" would start over. I gave them 40 min that time o years from pain. Still no call. Then I was told "oh well the on call is in surgery right now so I have no idea when she'll be done, but she will call you back." Your on call doctor is in surgery??? A new provider to the practice did call back to tell me to go to the ER. By this time it was 10:30pm and the wait time for ER was 193 min. So rude and incompetent.
I go here for the doctors, who are, for the most part, great. But dealing with this clinic and the support staff, scheduling appointments, trying to get in touch with on call? its all a nightmare. I went in for an ultrasound and they said that they had no tech and they were "going to call me to cancel." i was 5 minutes early, not sure when they were going to call. I now, again, have to decide whether its better to stick with this nightmare or go to an out of network clinic.
Most of the Dr's are nice it's the front and back of the office that really drives this place into the ground. Appointments cancelled with little to no notice, rude front desk staff, being told bad information multiple times and coding errors galore. If you chose to go here I hope you have ample time to spend on the phone fighting $400+ bills after every ROUTINE prenatal apt. After months of this I still don't have it resolved so I wanted to warn others.
