I am so impressed and touched with Uptown Veterinarian! Before I had established care anywhere, I had called around to several vets recently asking for advice because one of my cats sniffed a lily (which can be lethal even just from sniffing!). The next day, I got the sweetest voicemail from their practice manager, Blanca, asking about my cat by name and how she was holding up, and saying she hoped the lily scenario didn’t ruin my valentine’s day. Uptown Veterinarian checked back in despite me not even being a client—they truly just wanted to know my cat was okay. This clinic was able to see my dog the same day I called them. I ended up at the ER the night before and they told me that my dogs platelets were low. After speaking to the doctor here, they recommended an xray and ultrasound. They found a tumor on my dogs spleen and she was too weak to operate. The doctor explained in detail and sincerity what my options were. I appreciated the honesty. Unfortunately her prognosis was poor. I opted to try to stabilize her to get her ready for surgery but she was not improving. They were able to schedule for a same day appointment again, this time they helped her cross the rainbow bridge and they were comforting towards me.

I haven't had a vet experience that was as caring and thorough as I've had in the 2 visits here. The staff are so kind hearted, and truly care for the pets. I will recommend to everyone looking for awesome vet care.
