Post High School entry level vocational short training programs available for adults unable to attend a regular college career. Easy to enroll for the low income peoples in the urban, metro area.

I completed the Medical Administrative Assistant Program. I worked hard for my 4.0 GPA. The only thing I didn't like is that we didn't have the opportunity for a REAL graduation. We could've did it on zoom, but we didn't get that option either.

I attended SAOIC for the healthcare program when it was available and it was a life changer for me. Soon after graduation I got a job as a CHW and was able to leave the restaurant I used to work before. The staff at Summit always works hard to ensure every student achieves their goals and gets more opportunities. Thank you Summit Academy for opening doors I never knew I could.

Summit Academy OIC is an accredited, nonprofit career and technical education institute located in North Minneapolis. Summit offers 20-week in-demand career training in fields related to Construction (Carpentry and Electrician), Healthcare, and Information Technology (Cybersecurity and IT Tech Support). Summit also offers six-week, customized training in Food Manufacturing. Students have the opportunity to build professional relationships with instructors and employer partners in a supportive environment as they prepare for careers they will love. Summit’s 10-week GED program prepares students to pass tests needed to earn a high school equivalency diploma. These students are also supported as they seek employment or additional education.
