“Face Foundrie was recommended to me by a friend, so when I was going through a rough face breakout phase, I decided to give their hydrafacial a try. Hydrafacials are notoriously super spendy and I've only had one before, so admittedly my expectations were high. The space is darling! Very calming and peaceful decor. Check in was easy. I was surprised to see the service beds are not in separate rooms but just separated by curtains - this didn't affect the experience until the end when another client was talking loudly next to me. My esti was very kind - she asked me about my current routine and I walked through what I was using. Some of her suggestions surprised me, as they differed from what my dermatologist had recommended, but appreciated her input. The treatment itself was good - I love seeing how much gunk the hydrafacial pulls out! I was a bit bummed that my facial didn't include neck or décolletage - other facials I've gotten at other spaces have done those as part of the facial. Perhaps that's just not included with a hydrafacial? As the most expensive offering though, it was a bit of a bummer. I do feel it helped hydrate and cleanse my face, but am not sure if I would come back soon for that particular treatment. I'd consider trying one of their more affordable mini or regular facials in the future though!“

“This is in response to the review a few hours ago by Timothy Bands. First of all, I'm usually the only white person there also and I'm always treated very well.
Secondly, Tiwanna is from Gary, Indiana, so I don't know what you heard (maybe voices on your head?) but she only speaks English.
Thirdly, if you had on mascara when you came in for your appointment, like I did, you have to wash that stuff off before you get your lashes or they're not going to stick well. Or if there's some goop on your lashes, same thing. It's just standard practice.

I've been coming regularly to see her for about 2 months, every 3 weeks, and her fingers have never smelled like anything, so perhaps sensory hallucinations also?

“Larissa- you are so genuine and helpful. My face was the worst it’s ever been and she even took the time to meet with me before my facial a few days before my facial to offer products and guidance. “I booked an 11am appointment on a Sunday morning, right at opening. When I arrived there was already 4 people seated and started. At least 3 people walked in without appointments but all 3 were serviced before me. The guy who eventually did my nails was new and very apologetic, offering a free design which i declined. I was pressed for time and couldn't try both services due to that, but Tran made it somewhat better. The young lady who works the desk was very friendly and gave me a 15 dollar gift card for my inconvenience. I will go back because I believe in 3 strikes.“
