The trainers are friendly, encouraging, and efficient.They make a point to personally greet new members they do not recognize which makes for a welcoming environment. The trainers I have worked with so far have been excellent at gauging where my weight maximums are, detecting when I am approaching a point of failure, noticing when I am slipping into improper form, and helping to push through the most difficult final few reps in a set. I have been a client for over 5 years now. Simply put, these workouts work! Twice a week, 30 minutes with a personal trainer. The focus is on scientifically proven resistance training. The monitor your progress as you go so you get feedback to realize your goals. Great trainers and easy scheduling.

I have been strength training with Discover Strength for about 15 years. Their 30 minute workouts are great - it may sound short but you walk out feeling suitably exhausted and feel it the next day, in a good way. The studios are great (mine is in St Louis Park, one of the newer ones, but the original Plymouth one and Edina are also excellent). And the trainers are outstanding. Highly recommend.
