“Victorine was an absolute gem!! I contacted her in January of this year and she scheduled an appointment with me right away. My wedding is coming up this weekend, June 8th. She kept my dress safe at her home until I was ready for alterations to begin. She met with me on three weeks in a row to complete the alterations, hemming and steaming of the dress. She did a beautiful job. She was transparent, professional and so friendly. We took one of our groomsman's suit pants to her yesterday to have them hemmed by Thursday morning and she said no problem! She is truly one of a kind. We will go back for our alterations moving forward. I highly recommend! I will add photos after my fiance sees the dress :)“

“Chia totally saved the day! I had a super bad experience with another seamstress through the shop I purchased the dress from (YDBN Fargo, ND). Chia was able to fix several mistakes and take in a tricky mesh material in a week and a half before my wedding! Getting it done on a rush was a bit spendy but was totally worth it in the end! “Went in to have my bridesmaid dress (two layers) shortened, and the tailor said he could get it done by the 20th but I wasn't in a rush so I said by the 27th would be fine. Paid, received a ticket, and left.

Fast forward to today. I called ahead of time to make sure he would be around in the afternoon and not on lunch break, and I was told that he was indeed available for my dress to be picked up. Admittedly, I didn't clarify which dress it was but I was under the assumption that if I was told I could pick up my dress by the 27th, it would be available. I was wrong, because when I came in, I was told that my dress wouldn't be ready until 2pm. Was not told this at any point, and even showed my ticket to him to confirm that I was not given a specific time to pick up my dress by.

I don't know if this is a normal thing for tailors, but it was a huge hassle. Not dropping it down to a 3 star because it's a local business, the price and timeframe were fair, and the tailor seems to be on good terms with a lot of his customers. But it was still a big negative of the experience.“

“It's alright. The change machine gives you 75c on $1. Machines gobble up your extra quarters, so prepare to pay $12 for a large load, not what it's quoted on the price list. Otherwise it's in decent shape, somewhat clean and organized.“

“Best dry cleaner in St. Paul. I started going to them a couple of years ago after a different cleaners ruined a piece of clothing and did nothing. Pilgrim stands behind their work. Jenna, the manager is the BEST. She is always so pleasant. When I bring challenging things to her, she will say "let's try it". A couple of weeks ago, a tie from a shirt did not return when I picked it up. I called Jenna and from the cameras on their equipment she found that little black tie. I thought that was amazing. Very reputable cleaners, so glad I found them.“
