“The doctor was very nice and I was very satisfied. What I am not happy with is the options for making an appointment. The website says that you can make it through texting, which is preferable for me as I'm often in front of students. So several days after requesting an appointment be made through texting, they called me. I was in front of students. So I called back, got put on hold and I left a message saying I had about 10 minutes before I would no longer be able to talk, again requesting the texting option. 4 days later they called back. I'll still be a patient here, I've been going to them for 65 years. Just wish the appointment/website information was more accurate.“

“Lost a screw on my glasses during my conference in downtown Minneapolis. Since it happened on Sunday, I could only get a repair toolkit from target but the screws are too big. The following day, on my way to the airport, I first went to the target optical store but they said no inventory. Then I headed to Moss and was greeted with big smiles. While having a nice chat, they fixed my glasses in no time and for free. They really have nice people!“
“As a person with a strong prescription, it has always been a struggle to find the perfect frame that can minimize the lens thickness. When I went to InVision - St. Paul, Kat and Kelsie helped me pick out the right frame that accommodated my strong prescription and also fit my face shape. They were incredibly helpful with the selection of the frame and very knowledgeable regarding frame choices with a high prescription. My glasses were ready in 5 days (not business days)! I could not be more happy with how my glasses turned out. Despite my strong prescription, the lenses are thin, and the quality of the frame is great. “Went to this clinic today November 12, 2024 to see if they would do a "fitting" of my new glasses that I received today thru USPS that the VA sends me each year after my eye exam. I figured to try this route instead of going to the Minneapolis VA hospital to have the glasses fitted trying to save gas money. The VA told me clinics like this one would do fittings either for free or charge a small fee to veterans. This clinic doesn't charge a fee. :)
With that said. Once I entered the clinic was greeted by a nice young lady. This place had a few customers at the time, but I waited my turn and as a military retiree has time to "kill". Lol. Anywho, I waited maybe 20 mins for someone to fit my glasses. They did a good job at it and my glasses fit nicely on my face.
The young lady who did the fitting told me that they give a 30% military discount for cutting lens, and frame purchases which would come in handy. As the VA only gives out one pair of glasses each year. So, in essence if I break, lose, etc. these glasses then I must pay out of pocket for another pair. I asked her if they would establish a record at their business for future needs. All in all the experience was nice and professional felt welcomed as well. Would recommend to fellow veterans.“

“My wife and I have used Arthur Williams for about eight years and have been very satisfied. I needed a new prescription several months ago. I have a somewhat difficult prescription and was having a new problem with my correction. I was interested in trying an aspheric lens design, since I had read that it could provide a better correction in some cases. Debbie suggested that I try Hoya aspheric lenses. They are expensive, but she believes they are among the highest quality lenses available, and probably not offered by the chain optical stores. I got the Hoya lenses, and they are indeed dramatically better than any lenses I have ever had. For example, I had been using two pairs of glasses—one progressive pair for general use and a different progressive pair for computer use. With the Hoya aspheric progressive lenses, I can see both the computer screen and distance well, eliminating the need for computer glasses. This is an example of the knowledgable advice one can get from a good, independent optician.“

“I've had problems with my vision, brain fog, cluster headaches, etc. for 5+ years.
