I had some time before an appointment so I just swung by Premier Shaves to see if I could get a haircut. Luckily there was a gap in their appointments and the barber was kind enough to fit me in. The cut was exceptional and the conversation during the cut was great as well. I couldn't recommend Premier Shaves more highly and if you are ever in the maple grove area looking for a cut you couldn't find a better place.“

This is one of the few places ANYWHERE with a solid 5.0 star review and I understand why now.

I walked in after 6+ months of growth, hoping to maintain the length and get a proper sculpt/trim. I had issues in the past with growing my beard long which were exacerbated by less than stellar shave/sculpt/trim experiences at other shops. The finished sculpt never looked as sharp or as good as I would have hoped and often in spite of my clear instructions to maintain the length the first thing they would do is shorten the length of my beard with a trimmer. It was to the point that I genuinely believed a long beard would never look right on my face.

Johnathan is someone who is clearly a master in his trade. He was incredibly friendly, courteous and professional, and effortless in his ability to clearly communicate everything he was doing (and why), and ensure that my wishes were followed. There is a clear difference in the level of service you will receive here vs. another shop or standard chain. My expectations were met or exceeded at every level and would recommend this shop anyone, especially if you are looking to maintain a long beard.

I have never felt more confident in my appearance with a beard than after my experience at Top Shave Lounge.

“I've been going to this Sport Clips location for a little while and I really LOVE going here. I've had Lybbi take care of me a few times and she's pretty much the best. I'll 100% be back in a few weeks.

Stylist: Lybbi was my stylist and she's AWESOME! She cares about taking great care of her clients. I love going in and letting her do her thing. My hair looks good, I get a few minutes to relax, and feel well cared for even if it's just a half hour.“

“Wonderful experience at 18|8 Fine Men's Salon, the stylist really worked with me to get the cut that I wanted. A very clean and put together establishment that doesn't 'feel' like I'm at my wife's salon. After I left and got home I felt like I wanted a bit more off the top (my fault for not communicating that to the stylist), I called and they were able to have me come back in, adjust the cut and send me back on my way, no charge for the additional service. They really go above and beyond here. Will be back for more!“

No waiting and trying to time an appointment like the other sports barber in town. The stylists are very good too. Nou cut my hair with a wash and hot towel. Great way to cap off a long work day. “I got to the shop 10 minutes before opening in order to avoid the line that always forms quickly after the doors open. My stylist was friendly and professional. She listened to what I wanted done and gave me a nice trim. I appreciate that Sports Clips keeps a record of previous cuts that are available to any location so they quickly get a sense of what I’ve requested before.

The trim and wash was done within 25 minutes. I always appreciate the option to get a wash after the trim. The steamed towel over my face is an added luxury. While some folks might enjoy the massage chair vibrations, I’m glad they can turn it off if requested. It always reminds me of turbulence during a flight :)

Ample free parking in the lot in front of the venue.

I appreciate this location as it is one of the only ones open on a Wednesday morning in my area.

Note that I’ve repeatedly found open times and days listed on Google Maps to be off. I first showed up here at 8:45am today because Google listed them as open at 9:00. I should have looked at my Sport Clips app as the days/times are usually listed correctly.

Hair type: I’ve got floppy hair without a lot of body. Not every stylist knows how to trim it so that it grows in well. I got a perfect cut today.

Stylist: I could kick myself for not noting the name of my stylist. She was great. Listened to what I wanted and gave me a great trim. She was personable.“
