About North Memorial Health Clinic - Maple Grove
North Memorial Health Clinic is a large facility with a full range of services. Patients report friendly and professional staff who provide quick and careful care. Some patients have had positive experiences with surgery and the post-operative care, particularly the dedicated floor for hip replacements. However, other patients have reported mixed experiences, noting inconsistencies in the quality of care depending on the doctor and situation. They have also raised concerns about the transitional care unit, citing staffing issues and limited bed availability.
This note is specifically about Cathy in the clinic. I called today to get assistance with refills on prescriptions bc I’ve not been able to get timely responses from my medical provider thru My Chart. Cathy happened to pick up my call, was warm and friendly, was thorough with her questions and looking into my situation, and immediately was able to put-through my request for refills. I’ve been 4 days without medication, so I’m doubly grateful for her help. Thank you, Cathy!!
Been coming here for 2 years. Friendly staff, big campus, full service. Everyone is super nice, and professional, and everything is always done quickly and with care. It's worth the extra drive out compared to the local places, IMO.
I have mixed feelings about the hospital as a whole. I have been there on numerous occasions and some were wonderful and some were absolutely deplorable. I think that it depends on your doctor and what you need to have done. I'm surprised that there was such different result for different types of surgery. I was also lucky to have some of the best nurses that really took care of me and then I also encountered some of the absolute worst. It's like a hit or miss depending on the situation. With that said it is scary to think about what you may encounter. I hope that they have addressed the inconsistencies within the system. Surgery is hard for anyone and if you get sick you are at the mercy of the ones who you rely on. I have had both hips replaced and they have a relatively new floor specifically for this post-op as well as a in house transitional care facility. The TCU has lots of problems with their staff and their attitudes. They also don't have many beds to accommodate everyone. Hope they are doing everything to ensure that others have a better experience.
