Dr. Awad and Dr. Minnich are top notch as are the staff at both the Maplegrove and Oakdale office! My consult and follow up appointments were with Dr. Minnich, she was so helpful, thorough and caring. Dr. Awad did the actually surgery, he was great, explained everything before and as it was happening helping ease any fear and appreciation I had. I did have a small post op issue with some inflammation, that happens occasionally and they and their staff went above and beyond, from a phone call from Dr. Minnich to Dr. Awad about it and then Dr Awad fitting me in during a lunch break to flush my eye was above and beyond, helping save me an extra 5 hour round trip drive....read full review

Absolutely amazing experience at LasikPlus in Maple Grove! They got me scheduled for my procedure 2 days after my consult! I’m so impressed with how thoughtful and caring the staff was to work with. The day of my procedure (yesterday), I was super nervous..but my fears were quickly alleviated by the staff, who offered stress balls. Dr. Awad talked me through what was happening throughout the procedure. It was quick and painless! The worst part for me was the burning smell, lol. My eyes burned after the numbing drops wore off, but I was able to fall asleep and woke up feeling so much better! Highly recommend this place, best decision I’ve ever made ☺️

Nobody lets on as to how truly uncomfortable the 5 minute procedure is, but the results are absolutely remarkable. Less than 6 hours later, I was pain free and could see better than ever.
