“We worked with Kurt on what was initially just a backsplash project. The backsplash process was smooth and easy. Loved being able to go and look at tile samples, as well as bring a sample home so we could see how it looked in our house. Once we received our tile, the team had it up and grouted in a day and a half. It looks great!<br><br>We also really appreciated Kurt’s flexibility. What was initially an ask for just backsplash turned into a few additional projects. He also helped us install a new faucet in our kitchen and vented our microwave out of the house. Our smoke alarms used to go off every time we used our stove and since having it vented, they haven’t gone off once. Kurt checked in multiple times through the process to make sure everything was going well and to check the work/progress of the team. We will definitely be using Kurt for projects in the future!“

“When I bought a small home (cottage, built in 1920), it needed a lot of work. I started with paint. I decided to be totally open to suggestions even though I had my own ideas. Leslie was extremely helpful by actually listening to me and my thoughts and ideas. She began to challenge me with some other ideas, as she shared her knowledge of color. She suggested a color that I never would have even thought of! She was looking at the floor color (that I didn't love, but wasn't planning to change) and how we could compliment the floor color by using a specific color for the walls. I decided to try a sample to see if I could really understand what she was saying. I couldn't believe that I loved it! And, it helped me to actually like the floor color. “Our garage floor was abysmal and something needed to be done about it. The original concrete was from the 1960s, and some time around 2000 epoxy coating was added. The coating was flaking up in numerous locations, and the concrete was pitted throughout underneath the flaking epoxy. Previously we had a concrete specialist look at the floor, and they said the entire floor would need to be jackhammered up and replaced at a cost of around 15k! After doing research we decided to see if a polyaspartic floor covering would be a viable option. We contacted Abe at Alamtal Flooring through his website, and he responded within 30 minutes! His team came over to our house within the week and took a look at the floor, stating it was a good candidate for Polyaspartic covering. The sales process was straightforward, and the associate was very matter of fact about their product with no pressuring. We didn't sign a contract at the time of the sales visit, but went back later and decided to go with the floor coating (for a fraction of the cost of replacing the concrete floor!). We were able to schedule the install for a week later. The day they were here Abe did a great job of staying in touch with us regarding progress, and send us pictures of how things were going. We couldn't walk on the floor for a day and drive on it for 2, which worked out fine for us. A few days after install we noticed some areas in the garage that weren't quite level (we are very picky customers!). Abe responded promptly to the pictures and scheduled time to come over and fix the concerned areas. Throughout the process he was professional and all around wonderful to work with. Our experience with Alamtal Flooring was exceptional. My only hope/concern is that the floor will last more than 10 or so years!“
