Throughout it all the entire Crossroads staff was wonderful to work with and so sweet with our gentle giant. “We are so grateful to Dr. Leslie, as well as the rest of the staff at Akin Hills. When our previous vet was not able to see our sick cat for a couple days, Akin Hills squeezed us in the same day and started care for her. They addressed all of our concerns and when it was looking like surgery was needed, Dr. Leslie called around to find us the best and most affordable option. Dr. Leslie and the staff followed-up many times to check on our cat which was so appreciated.“

“We had been bringing our pets to another local place for 20 years but decided to seek out a new place after a series of missteps from the previous provider. We found Total Pet Wellness and have been coming here for about a year now. We’ve been satisfied with the service, the prices and level of care from the doctor and her team. The place looks a little shabby from the street view as it’s in a former house and the property isn’t overly well kept on the outside. Don’t let that scare you away as inside the place is nice and the staff friendly and helpful.“

“I never really write reviews. However, Scott lake deserves one. They have been absolutely amazing for our pit bull mix Roxi. Dr.Tom has been the best vet we have had. Always goes the extra mile and takes his time and is very thorough with any visits. I recommended this place to my family and my 16 year old family dog was brought in as well. He is usually shakes and hates vets but nope not here. He was nice and calm and did super well here. The staff are all helpful as well. It may be a little more expensive than other places but it is worth every penny.“

“Kristen and Dr. Anderson were so wonderful and caring with my 12 year old bearded dragon. He had been such a healthy lizard, that he had never been to a vet. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for Rocky, but they were so knowledgeable about the breed and assured me that I was doing the right thing in not making him suffer in any way. They were so kind through the process and let me take all the time I needed with him. I am thinking about rescuing a bearded dragon and I would not take them to any other vet. Monique“

“One of the best in the area. The vets and assistants are all very pleasant and right to the point. I previously had a small complaint regarding the quality of the cremation service they used around April when my bulldog passed. We unfortunately had another recent passing of one of our childhood pets but I was very pleased to see when I picked up her ashes that it came with a lot of sentimental items from a far better cremation service (Pets Remembered). I brought my concern regarding the old service to Dr.Rozendaal during a prior checkup and it’s nice knowing that something was done about it.

“We've used East Valley Animal Clinic for years. They fixed up one of our dog's legs when she dislocated her ankle using cutting edge technology for the time (3D printed orthotic). They spent a lot of effort on her case and explored various options. We felt they informed us as much as possible on our decisions and answered all of our questions.

When our oldest dog got very sick suddenly, we called and explained it was urgent she be seen, and they fit her in the same day. We suspected we were going to have to put her to sleep, and they offered to do a "Quality of Life" visit with us. We got to sit down with the vet while we explained what had happened and she helped us make the very difficult decision to put her to sleep. She and the tech were very compassionate, left the decision to us, and gave us their feedback. We really just needed to know we were making the right decision, and she helped greatly with that. Despite them being very busy, we weren't rushed or made to feel as though we were under any sort of time limit to say goodbye to our dog.

We are very grateful to have them as our vet, and wouldn't take our dogs anywhere else.“

“Enrolled my dog in the "Positive Dog Training" classes for Adult Dog Level 1. I was lucky enough to get Paul D as our trainer. The commands he presented were clear in both word, print out and example which he had us practice several times and not too much in one week so we could really get our dogs solid on the homework. My dog was also having issues being around strange dogs, but with Paul's help during class I think my dog is on the road to a full recovery there as well (from whatever spooked him in his life before I rescued him).
