Family boating day, we put the pontoon in at Windmill and rode up to Stillwater. On our way back between bayport and the train bridge the motor died. My in-laws put their boat in at Beanies to come tow us. That’s when my in-laws boat started having motor troubles! The worker came over, started helping, problem solving, fixed it!!! He let them launch to come save us. Once we all got back to Beanies with the broken down pontoon, the worker, James, spent a good 20 minutes trying to help us fix the pontoon. He let us leave the pontoon on his docks while we went and grabbed the trailer from Windmill. He didn’t charge us for using the launch to take the pontoon out. We did tip him and were very grateful for his generous time and help. Thanks James!
The owner rudely approached my elderly parents and asked them to pay 10 dollars for parking their car in a single park spot. THERE WAS NO SIGN!! VERY Rude. We paid the launch fee since there was a sign for that. Then to approach us (the only customers of the day) and greedily ask for 10 dollars from 2 elderly folks, nope GOING TO WINDMILL FROM NOW ON!
