Places like Fred's are a dying breed. It's going to be sad when you cannot get things repaired that still have a useful life. I took my Cole Haan boots there to have new heels installed. This, after taking them to another repair shop that refused to work on them. Not only did Fred do a great job with my shoes, it was a very reasonable price. Don't be put off by the dilapidated exterior. Fred does great work!
I called several plumbing companies to ask the approximate cost to replace a toilet, so I could decide about making the purchase. Until I called Cherry Plumbing they all said they couldn't give me even a general idea, or a range of costs, without an appointment to see the bathroom. Cherry, on the other hand gave me an approximation over the phone. Much appreciated. I will remember it.

The people at this home are very warm and friendly. I lost my cat the other day and they were quick to offer me some cookies and milk and even offered to go look with me. Unfortunately I never found Mrs. Mittens :( I am still thankful to this day for their uplifting words of encouragement and warm spirits.
Brittany is simply the best. I have been going to her for almost five years. She pays close attention to detail and takes pride in her work. I often have other aestheticians comment on how awesome my lashes look! And the best part is they look so natural. Brittany is also very personable, which is extra icing on the cake! I've used Rod a number of times, most recently in December/this Spring. Rod does a fantastic job, any time I bid a job he is the lowest price, and he leaves the place immaculate, event when grinding a stump in a landscaped area. Lee did an excellent job with my wedding dress. I had a full lace dress and she shortened it beautifully and added a stunning bustle. She did a great job with my sister’s bridesmaid dress too. Would highly recommend them for alterations.

Brandon and his crew were polite, easy to work with and did exactly what they said they were going to do for the safety of our home.
The house had a radon level average of 7 when we bought it and the seller was not cooperative so I reached out to 3 radon mitigation services to get bids.
86 the Radon uses online information (Google Earth and real estate information) along with the answers you provide on a detailed webform to provide a bid - saving money in the end by eliminating multiple in-person trips for estimates, etc. It turns out they found the same information as the other two did by coming out to our house yet 86 The Radon came in $350 less due to virtual estimating and they performed the exact same work - in 3 hours onsite and one trip back to get the test equipment post-test. The system is the same, the time involved was less for me and I didn't have to take off work to meet someone for an estimate.
We had an external system ran due to our structure and it's fine! It blends in with the other utilities and we opted to paint the pvc ourselves to match our siding. EZ!
Our test results make me the happiest - down to BELOW 2!! I feel secure and our kids can play anywhere in the house w/out my concern, even in the basement TV room!

From the estimate through the completion of our project they were available to answer all of our questions and help us understand the process. Axel Landscaping did a great job on our project from start to finish - they installed a new paver patio area and back steps to connect our existing patio with a new garage and driveway. The original bid was detailed and really helped us trust that they understood our goals. They helped us every step of the way, explaining the different materials choices and what those would mean in terms of performance,, cost, and aesthetics. The team was efficient and did excellent work, despite having to deal with massive tree roots, a buried electrical line, and an unexpected discovery of some issues with our siding. They also went out of their way to work with the contractor who was installing our driveway to make sure both projects were successful.
We will absolutely call them for our next landscaping project!
Highly recommend this company! They trimmed trees on our block, cleaned up right away AND went out of their way to clear the snow off the sidewalk & walkway up to our house. I'm pregnant and my husband hasn't been able to shovel the front of our house yet, so the fact they cleared the snow meant a lot to us! Thank you Shadywood Tree Experts!
They evaluated a tree that I was concerned about, made recommendations on steps that could be taken to maximize the health of the tree (including explaining the services they proposed), and scheduled the service at a time that was convenient for me.
They arrived at the estimated time, provided updates on what they observed when servicing the tree, and did a thorough job of removing all debris.
I intend to use SavATree going forward and would not hesitate to recommend them based on my experience.

I'm 63. I have had a serious shoulder injury all my life. I had been losing my ability to lift weights, etc. the last few years. After seeing Dr. Steele I was able to lift twice as much after one session and more after two. I know what he did made the difference since I can see and feel the results. They have done a great job on everything from routine teeth cleaning and vaccinations to helping us with our aging pup with mobility issues. I saw Malcom a little over a week ago and am so grateful I did! I have a herniated disc from an old lifting injury and it flared up back in November and since then has been an issue. After just 1 hour of massage, the pain is gone. I’ll absolutely be returning and have passed along recommendations to friends and family!
