Mesaba Animal Hospital provides excellent care for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and snakes. The team is patient, understanding, and dedicated to helping both animals and their owners. Dr. Dave is known for his helpfulness and clear explanations. The hospital is highly recommended for anyone seeking top-notch veterinary care. Many clients appreciate the personal care and attention their pets receive, with staff members being friendly and willing to help. The facility even offers obedience training sessions with certified K-9 trainers, ensuring comprehensive support for animals and their families.
All and all a good experience. As a new patient, they got my cat in for an appointment quickly at least, which is more than I can say for any of the other veterinarians around my immediate area. The only slight complaint I have is that they’re a bit pricey for someone on a fixed income. The annual exam and rabies vaccination each cost $20 more here than what Dougherty Veterinary Clinics in Duluth charges. So I would have spent $40 less by bringing my cat to Duluth, but it would have cost me in fuel and driving time compared to bringing my cat to Mesaba Animal Hospital which is so much closer to me. My dog unexpectedly passed away while visiting our family cabin. Mesaba Animal Hospital was able to assist us throughout this terrible time providing us with care and support while we said our goodbyes to our best friend. We decided to get her cremated and could not be more happy with all they did for us. THANK YOU!
The receptionists were very polite, the vet was awesome with both my cat and my 2 year old who had to come with, for an exam, nexgaurd,an ear cleaning, and rabies it was under 150 so price was very doable
