“Very down to earth Vet, staff, and vet clinic. We were so grateful they were still accepting new clients when we adopted our cat during the pandemic.
Many other vet offices were full and had long waiting lists, and we knew we needed to get annual check-ups and vaccinations for the newest member of our household.
Dr. Shirley, Jake, and Nicole have always been very kind to us - even when they are very busy. We get appointment reminders on postcards in the mail every year- great reminder to schedule for annual checkup. They also do their best to call a day or two ahead of your appointment to make sure you remember and are still able to make it, even if that call is at the end of a long day for them.
Prices are very reasonable, and Dr. Shirley utilizes his excellent bedside manner with our cat as well as answering our questions and having a realistic outlook on what's feasible and best for our pet companion and us and the relationship we have together.

“Our Golden Retriever Henry was a patient at Airport Animal Hospital for six years, ever since we moved to Duluth in 2018. The vets and staff at AAH are all fantastic. Henry was always so excited to go to the vet and was always so happy to see everyone there. We were frequent visitors due to many recurring skin infections, and we always felt like Henry had great care and all of our questions were answered. AAH also helped us navigate the process of having a fairly large cyst removed from Henry’s back leg, which included a referral and surgery in the Twin Cities.

Unfortunately, we had to put Henry to sleep a few days ago, and AAH was incredibly compassionate throughout the entire process. They made us aware of all of our options and made sure that we were able to do all of the necessary tests to put our minds at ease that we were making the right decision. Henry had hemangiosarcoma with swelling around his heart, so he was very weak and lethargic, which was completely out of character for him. Nevertheless, he perked up and wagged his tail every time a doctor or vet tech walked into the room during his treatment, a testament to how safe and cared for he felt at Airport Animal Hospital. AAH made this incredibly difficult time a bit easier by being compassionate and caring, including fielding some follow-up questions after the fact with incredibly quick response times.

We are very grateful for Airport Animal Hospital and the high-quality care they provide. When it’s time to welcome another dog into the family, we will definitely be returning as customers/patients.“

“Excellent care. Team of dedicated animal lovers. Be prepared to wait. We called ahead and advised when we’d be there when they asked, but if a room is not ready when arriving, there is a wait. Then could be another wait for vet exam after initial contact with associate to get vitals.
