My daughter and I have been going to the Thursday community sauna and we just love it! The staff is friendly and fantastic. Laura is most welcoming and informative. It’s a beautiful spot and we see friends and also have enjoyed talking with visitors to our community. 5+stars
My husband and I were vacationing in Grand Marais and saw a post about Sisu + Loyly on social media. We were lucky to get an evening appointment the next day and it was by far my favorite part of our vacation. The office/changing room area is spotless, serene, and has everything you could want to make the experience enjoyable (fluffy robes and towels, locally crafted herbal tea blends and coffee, scented natural oils to add to your sauna water bucket for steam, and more!) Definitely recommend the cold plunge, and I hope they keep it year round (we plan to return this winter). I also really appreciated the sustainability efforts they took- everything that could be reusable in terms of water bottles, mugs, etc. was! All in all, this is quite the experience- a combination of nature (gorgeous views of the lake), wellness, and relaxation. Thanks to the Sisu + Loyly staff for an incredible memory!
